What we collect
- Your email (for delivery)
- The room photo you upload
- The generated output
- Payment metadata via Stripe (we never see your card)
- A daily changing identifier derived from your network address to limit automated preview requests
- Recognized campaign labels, generation usage and order outcomes to measure product performance and operating costs
How we use it
To generate, check and deliver your image or video. Uploaded photos and generated images are stored so we can process and deliver your order. Automatic deletion is not currently enabled.
A campaign label may be remembered in your browser tab for up to 24 hours. We keep campaign and generation-cost records privately. Google Analytics excludes result and shared-image pages. Optional TikTok purchase measurement receives only the limited event described below. Neither receives your email, photo links, prompts or order identifiers.
Sharing
We use Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting/storage), Resend (email), Google Gemini (image generation), and fal / MiniMax (Animated Haunt video generation). When you buy Animated Haunt, the exact finished image is sent to fal to animate. We request that fal does not store the request payload and that its generated media expires after one day; we save your delivered video in GhostCam storage. We do not sell your uploaded photos. This site also uses Google Analytics to understand visits and product usage. Original uploads, watermarked previews and delivered images use unlisted public links: anyone with a link can open them. For new preview purchases, the clean image and checkout reservation are kept in private storage until payment is verified. Your email in the reservation is used only for your order and support.
For Animated Haunt quality checks, Google Gemini also receives a resized copy of the finished image and the generated video to check visual defects, scene preservation and motion. We do not include your email, order identifier or source URL in those checks. Check results are stored privately. A failed check holds back the video while your purchased photo remains available.
Your rights
Optional TikTok advertising measurement is off until you allow it. If enabled, TikTok receives visits, preview creation, checkout and purchase events with fixed product names and prices, and browser information such as IP address and user agent; it may use advertising cookies. It runs in a separate document and cannot read your photos, email, prompts or private result URLs. Purchase events use a one-purchase digest, not your order link. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Changing your preference stops future sharing; it cannot recall events already sent.
